Does the kit include lighting?
Yes. Every kit includes LED lighting to illuminate your finished model, with detailed illustrated instructions for assembly and setup. Batteries are not included.
Is this kit suitable for beginners?
Yes. Our kits include detailed illustrated step-by-step instructions, making them suitable for beginners. Work through one step at a time and enjoy building at your own pace.
How long does it take to build?
The estimated assembly time is 8-12 hours. Your pace may vary, and you can spread the build across several sessions.
Do I need any extra tools?
No extra tools are needed. We provide all the tools required for assembly. Glue and batteries are the only supplies not included.
What kind of glue should I use?
A clear-drying PVA craft glue is suitable for the wooden and paper parts. Use a craft adhesive suitable for the material when joining fabric, plastic or metal details. Glue is not included.
Are these kits suitable for children?
Our kits are designed for ages 14 and up, rather than as children’s toys. Anyone under 14 should build with a parent present and supervising throughout, as the kits contain small parts and assembly tools.
Orders & support
Will items ship together?
Items may arrive in separate packages when they ship from different warehouses or need separate boxes. We email a shipping confirmation and tracking number for each package.
What if a part is missing or damaged?
We provide free replacement parts for missing or damaged pieces reported within 90 days of delivery. Send your order number, product name and the affected part numbers or a photo through our Parts Replacement Service, or email contact@hinooki.com, and we will help arrange the replacement.
How do I track my order?
We email your tracking link as soon as your order ships. Tracking updates can take up to 48 hours to appear. If your order arrives in separate parcels, each parcel has its own tracking link.
