European Melody Musical Instrument Box
Slip a tiny antique conservatory between your books. Tucked behind a four-sided glass cover sits a candlelit European music room — a grand piano by the window, a violin resting in its cabinet, a harp glowing under a little lamp. Touch the side and the whole scene wakes up.
Art on every side
This is more than a bookend. Each face tells a different chapter of an old-world music house, weaving together architecture, painting and music into one glowing little stage.
What you'll build
|
Touch-controlled LED glow A tap on the side lights the warm lamps and brings the room to life — no fiddly switch. |
Four-sided acrylic dust cover Clear panels wrap all four sides, so the finished scene stays clean for years. |
|
Real instruments in miniature Grand piano, violin, harp and saxophone — each one a tiny wooden build of its own. |
Slots between your books Sized like a thick novel, it stands proudly on any shelf as a working bookend. |
A look inside, scene by scene
Turn it in your hands and four little acts unfold — a lounge, a harp corner, a piano room and the violinist's stage.
The harp corner
A carved harp leans beside a little stool, lit by a glowing table lamp. Behind it, an open cabinet papered with sheet music and roses, a vintage pendulum clock and a three-tier bookshelf full of tiny books.
The grand piano by the window
The lid of the grand piano lifts open over a tiny patterned rug. Floral wallpaper, a framed oil painting and long drapes frame an arched window that looks out on a painted countryside path.
The instrument cabinet
A reddish violin takes center stage on its stand, with a saxophone, music sheets and decorative vases arranged across a shelved cabinet — green velvet curtains drawn to either side.
The velvet lounge
A button-tufted carved sofa sits under teal drapes, beside a glass-front display cabinet and a side table with its own little lamp — the quiet corner where the music settles.
Kept perfect under glass
The transparent acrylic cover surrounds all four sides, protecting the delicate interior and keeping it looking brand new — admire the scene from any angle.
Why you'll love it
A slow, satisfying weekend project — about 5 to 6 hours of calm, screen-free building. The kit arrives flat-packed with every part pre-cut, plus tweezers, frosted rod, strings and a clear illustrated manual. Whether it's a gift for a music lover or your own little escape, the finished room earns a permanent place on the shelf.
Good to know: This is a build-it-yourself kit — assembly required. Glue, batteries and scissors are not included due to international shipping rules (any PVA white craft glue works beautifully on the paper and wood parts).
Books and any styling props in the photos are for display only and are not included.
Bring the melody home
Clear an inch on your shelf, dim the room, and let the little lamps glow. Add the European Melody Musical Instrument Box to your cart and start building your tiny concert.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What's Inside The Box?
Every kit contains pre-cut precision wooden pieces, pre-painted details for authentic textures, illustrated step-by-step instructions, LED lighting components (where applicable), and all specialty materials needed to bring your miniature world to life.
Due to international shipping regulations, glue and batteries are excluded - but we'll guide you to the perfect adhesive solution!
Will Items Ship Together?
Your order may arrive in multiple packages if:
- Items ship from different warehouses (USA/UK/AUS...)
- Large orders require separate boxes
But don't worry! You'll receive:
• Individual tracking numbers
• Shipping notifications for each package
• Priority consolidation when possible
Does it come with working lights? How does it work?
Yes — all HiNooki DIY kits include a free LED light kit. ✨
Due to international air shipping regulations, batteries cannot be included, so you will need to prepare them yourself. Most kits use 2–3 AAA batteries.
After inserting the batteries, simply switch on the battery box (some battery boxes include an ON/OFF switch) to bring your miniature scene to life with warm ambient lighting.
Is This Beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! Our kits are designed for crafters at all levels. Each comes with:
- Color-coded components for easy identification
- Illustrated instructions with magnified detail views
New to miniatures? Try our "Beginner Level" starter kit - we're always happy to recommend the perfect entry point!
How Long Does It Take To Build?
Building times range from 3-20 magical hours depending on:
• Kit complexity
• Your preferred pace (many enjoy spreading over cozy weekends)
• Optional detailing like custom painting
Most crafters tell us the process is wonderfully relaxing - pour some tea, play soft music, and watch your tiny world come alive!
Do I need any extra tools?
You will only need your own silicone-based craft glue or PVA glue, along with scissors and tweezers.
All other essential tools and parts are included in the kit.
What Kind Of Glue Should I Use?
Some of our kits do not require liquid glue, as they include double-sided tapes or stickers inside the package.
When your kit does call for glue, we recommend using clear craft adhesives:
- Silicone-based glue — dries quickly and provides a very strong hold, ideal for delicate miniature assembly.
- White PVA glue — works best for bonding paper and wooden pieces, offering a clean and reliable finish.
These options ensure your miniature stays sturdy and neat throughout the build.
What If A Part Is Missing Or Damaged?
We carefully inspect every kit before shipping. However, if any part arrives missing or damaged, please submit a request through our Parts Replacement Service page.
We offer one free parts replacement within 90 days for every order.
You can also contact us directly at contact@hinooki.com, and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
How Do I Track My Order?
After processing (1-3 business days):
→ You'll receive tracking via email
→ Check real-time updates on our [Tracking Page]
→ International orders may take 7-15 days
Can't find your updates? Reply to your order confirmation - we'll personally investigate!

For children between 6–10 years old, we suggest building together with a parent or guardian.
It can become a meaningful, creative, and cozy family activity to enjoy together.
