Order Cancellation

  • You may cancel your order free of charge before it has been shipped.
  • If you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@hinooki.com.
  • Once an order has been shipped, we do not accept cancellations, including requests made while the package is in transit.
  • If you no longer want the item after shipment, you must wait until the package is delivered and then follow our return process as outlined below.

1. United States Returns

  • We offer a 30-day return policy for all U.S. orders — you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  • Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@hinooki.com.
  • If your return request is approved, we will provide return instructions along with a prepaid return shipping label.
  • A return shipping fee of $9.99 USD per item will be deducted from your refund. The total return shipping cost depends on the number of items returned and the shipment weight.
  • Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

2. United Kingdom & European Union Returns

  • We accept returns from customers in the United Kingdom and European Union within 30 days of delivery.
  • Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • For returns that are not due to our error or a product quality issue, customers are responsible for returning the item to our UK warehouse and covering the return shipping costs.
  • Refunds will be processed after the returned items are received and inspected at our warehouse.

3. Other International Orders

  • For customers outside the U.S., U.K., and E.U., due to international shipping and customs complexity, we do not accept returns for non-quality-related reasons.
  • Returns are only accepted if the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • Please contact us within 30 days of receipt if there is an issue.

4. Damages and Issues

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
  • If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days.
  • We may request photos or videos before issuing a replacement or refund.

5. Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original product. Once your return is approved and processed, you may place a new order for the replacement.

6. Refunds

  • We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3-7 business days.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us.

7. Shipping, Address Accuracy & In-Transit Orders

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.
  • If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we cannot issue a replacement.
  • If a delivery fails or the package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, we are unable to issue a full refund.
  • In such cases, a USD $8.99 handling deduction will apply. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method after the package is confirmed as returned.
  • Reshipping to a corrected address will require additional shipping fees.
  • We do not accept cancellations or refunds for orders already in transit.
  • Packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier are considered successfully delivered and are not eligible for refund or replacement.
